Slash gallery at Worm Rotterdam asked us to “decorate” their hanging Christmas tree. In the Netherlands you finish decorating a Christmas tree by placing ’the piek’. This is the masterpiece of the tree, balancing on the top twig. It’s actually the only glass item that’s not hanging, but standing in the tree.
The piek is not easy to place, because you have to reach out very far. Since this tree was upside down, we only had to make an arm coming from the floor. Easy. Merry Christmas!
